Scope & Content File Folder 3 with photocopies of the diaries of Karl Riddle 07/23/1920-8/29/1941. There are photocopies of the diaries and duplicate copies of excerpts of his diaries. The correspondence files cover several time periods; the Historical Society of Palm Beach County does not have the originals.

One correspondence file includes photocopies of the diary between July 1920 and November 1924 when he had his family had moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, They include daily activities of Karl, wife Louise and children, including social activities, visiting local attractions, weather. It includes city business the April 13, 1923 entry describing his being voted out by the County Commission of his job as City Manager after which he started an engineering business, the Riddle Company and its projects, and his brother Kenyon's move to West Palm Beach in December, 1923

One correspondence file has two sets of photocopies of selected excerpts between November 1920 and September 1924.

One correspondence file has photocopies of his diary between August 1932 and February 1933 describing a family trip to the northwest, New Mexico, Texas, into Mexico social activities and also some business in Mexico are described. See the original diary 2003/005.016.

One correspondence file had a photocopies of his diary for selected dates between August and September 1941 describing a trip.
