On one side there is a modern map of the State of Florida with insets for St. Petersburg, Jacksonville, Orlando, Miami, West Palm Beach, Gainesville, Ft. Lauderdale, Pensacola, Tallahassee, St. Augustine and the John F. Kennedy Space Center and on the other side articles on 500 Years of Florida history, how Florida is celebrating the nation's Bicentennial with a list of attractions, points of interests and public recreation areas, official highway mileages and a copy of a hand drawn map of Florida by Jacques le Moyne in 1591. Also includes a letter from Reubin O'D. Askew, Florida's Governor and a copy of a painting of Chief Bolecks on the cover of the map. Published by the Florida Department of Transportation.
