Scope & Content Kathryn Jordahn Rybovich moved to West Palm Beach, Florida after her father's death in 1924. Kay experienced the 1928 hurricane, graduated from Palm Beach High, and eventually married John Rybovich who owned Rybovich & Sons Boatworks. Includes descriptions of various businesses in downtown West Palm Beach, early home life, marriage and raising her own children, and her involvement with the International Women's Fishing Association. Kay was Gus Jordahn's niece. Gus built the Palm Beach Pier and Gus' Baths at one time at the corner of South Ocean Blvd and Worth Ave.
